Bud Meredith is a “hands on” Partner in charge of our USTCG office located in Philadelphia, PA.  He directly oversees the personal property tax compliance functions for all of the United States. This includes the managing of compliance, audits, appeals and reviews for all clients.

Mr. Meredith is a seasoned tax professional with 24 years of experience in various industries including but not limited to services, transportation, medical, manufacturing, distribution, hospitality, web-based, high end retail and wholesale.  He also possesses extensive experience in internal company implementations and training with respect to multiple compliance software packages on such platforms as SAP and Oracle. He has extensive knowledge of PTMS property tax software, Taxware and Vertex sales tax software and has provided in depth Accounts Payable training for use tax assessment procedures.

 A graduate of Hofstra University in New York, Mr. Meredith holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting with specialization in Corporate Tax.  He has served as Chair and Vice Chair for the International Air Transportation Association Tax Panel.  Bud has represented industry before the US Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service on various revenue tax and excise tax issues.  He has chaired industry committees in such cities as Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami in successful attempts to reduce or eliminate possessory interest tax and other related property taxes.  Mr. Meredith is a former member of the New York Chamber of Commerce Committee on Taxation and Public Revenue and the Council on State Taxation (COST).  He is an active member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT).
